Christine is an excellent trainer and pet sitter. I started working with Christine when my puppy was about 15 weeks and continued until we left Charleston when he was 2 1/2. It is clear that she really loves dogs and meets them where they are at with their personality and learning style. My vet commented several times on the progress my dog made with his behavior and that was due to the training she offered to both me and my dog. My dog also loved her - when I said her name, he would immediately run to the door, barely containing his excitement. She is very trustworthy as a pet sitter. She watched my dog several times in my home, and she was always on time, respected my home, and adhered to my high maintenance set of instructions. I would 100% recommend Christine's training and pet sitting services.

Christine Baker worked w/ my 4 dogs and the results were great . She was patient , kind & thorough . Didn’t take her long to share w/ us that one of our labs was food driven & we could use that in her training . This was several yrs ago & we still use her training tips & they continue to work . Christine is so smart and so caring of animals and their owners. She practices positive training techniques, which I have found to be so helpful in not only training my dogs but also having a better relationship with them. A dog should not fear it's owner. There should be mutual love and respect! Christine's infinite patience and guidance has taught me this!! I hired Christine to stay with my dog Baba for a week while we were out of town. I also had her do some training with Baba. Christine did a great job! I felt so comfortable leaving her in my home with Baba. More importantly, Baba loved her! She provided me with a lot of helpful ideas in managing Baba. She did a follow up visit to review all the things she had worked on Baba with. I would definitely use her again!
Our dog Nell had already stumped one other trainer when my husband and I found Christine, and we had no idea how to handle her (Nell's, that is) complete indifference to treats or praise when we tried to train. Christine proved to be a Nell whisperer in just 10 sessions. We're not even done with the package and our dog will walk politely, come when called, and ask permission before entering/exiting our house and bedroom. 100% recommend Christine and we look forward to continuing to work with her!
Our dog, Nell, LOVES Christine. She's so excited every time she comes. Which is fun because she was never much for training. But it's not just play time either. Nell has learned a lot. We love Christine and would recommend her to everyone.
